About Down Boy

Ron and Jack met by chance at a local pub in Keene and learned that they were from the same town (albeit a few years apart) and both are musicians. They started Down Boy to play pop, rock, country and classics for diners at the restaurants in the area.

Patrons were delighted with the variety of music Down Boy selected that was performed at a volume that allowed conversation. They were also impressed by the rich tone of Jack's voice, the novel sounds of the electric cello and the high fidelity of the small footprint PA system.

As for the music -- Down Boy covers it all; From today's pop, classic and grunge, Willie Nelson, Lady Gaga, Sinatra, Imagine Dragons, today's country stars, we play what you like to hear!

Due to popular demand, Down Boy expanded into playing bars and pubs. Next, there was a call to perform at weddings, cocktail hours, and private events that required an elevated soundtrack and atmosphere for the attendees.
